TUGU NEGARA TRIP

Hello and Assalamualaikum,

Many of you are now aware that my son is a patriotic hard core fan of Malaysia. And the more he watches Malaysia songs on YouTube, the more he learns more about this country. For the time being, he has been so fond of Tugu Negara. He has this sense of pride in him whenever he sees the Tugu Negara though he pronounces it as Gunegara. haha. cute!

Last two weeks, my husband and his colleagues went to have fish curry for lunch in KL area which is located near to Tugu Negara. They actually spent a good time there taking photos of the iconic statue. Then, back at home, my son noticed my husband's phone's gallery full with Tugu Negara and he went ballistic! I mean it guys, he was so emotional with the fact that daddy got to spend time with Gunegara and he wasn't there.

So for the whole week, we had to listen to him chanting...

"Gunegara"

"Gunegara"

"Gunegara"

"Nak pegi Gunegaraaaaa"

"Nak pegi Gunegaraaaaa"

"Nak pegi Gunegaraaaaa"

ALL WEEK LONG.

Hence, we made a prompt decision to go there on a Sunday afternoon right after we visited my in laws in Bangi. FYI, this was before the Government announced the CMCO on Monday. The first time we told him that were going to Gunegara, he was excited! he kept on asking us "nak pegi mana? Gunegara ke?"checking on us if we're really taking him there. He wanted this so much guys. The whole trip there, he was sleepy but he fought hard because he was afraid he might miss the Tugu Negara. haha. So much Determination!

When we actually arrived at the parking, he couldn't control his cool anymore, he straight away walk out to see his Tugu Negara.

The happiest boy in town that day. It was scorching hot, but we managed to get some photos with the statue.

Mandatory family potrait. Captured by another Malysian tourist. haha

I was forcing him to take a selfie. So he gave the most awkward smile everrrrr.

My daughter who just couldn't care less about this trip hahaha. All she wanted was to stay in the car for aircond!

But she did put on a great smile.

She even helped being my photographer.

We had a little trouble to go home! he refused to leave his Gunegara! haha. So daddy had to carry him a little while.

Promised the kids ice cream after the trip. So we stopped by SACC mall just to fulfill their request.

And we had lunch at Sushi King!

Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah.

HE SAYS ITS THE BEST DAY EVERR!

That's all for today.
Toodles,

Love,
ArTiza S.
